We’re always on the hunt for the most inspiring visuals in the land of Instagram, and we like to think that we’ve pretty much got the colourful section nailed now. It’s brilliant to open up the app in the morning and see a burst of vibrant hues; we love to scroll over our morning eggs - sunny side up, of course.

At W.A.Green, we use Instagram to seek inspiration, to discover new trends, and most importantly, to speak to our gorgeous customers. As much as we worry about the algorithm like everyone else, we adore the fact that we can see all of this content for free and reach new people who might have never discovered us before. Isn’t that amazing? In fact, you may just have come to this blog post via our Instagram. If so, hello! How are ya?

Get your own colourful fix by following these 15 colourful Instagram accounts that will fill your feed with joy.

The Bold Interior | @teklan

Photographer and set designer Tesla Evelina Severing brings all things bold to her squares with a focus on the world of interiors. We adore the snippets of her own home as well as her collaborations with other colourful creatives.

The Wave Maker | @loisohara

We worked with Miss Lois O’Hara last year on a colourful installation for London Design Festival and we couldn’t be happier to see how she’s progressed since. With her hashtag #colourispower, Lois is on a mission to bring her wavy designs to the world. One to watch closely on the gram for sure. Big things are coming!

The Inspired Architect | @cimkedi

A feast for the eyes for any architecture lover, artist Yener Torun’s art-photography compositions focus on the relations between space and the experiences we have in it. While the images might not be real depictions of urban architecture, they certainly boost our day and have us daydreaming about a brighter world. Take note world leaders!

The Urban Artist | @bradleytheodore

Bradley Theodore isn’t your typical colourful account and instead depicts a more urban take on the bright and bold. We’re a sucker for skulls and Bradley often creates his own abstract beauties,as well as incredible portraiture of his favourite artists. Follow him for a dark and edgy take on colour.

The Positive One | @goldenouterspaceparadise

Just one look at Anna’s feed will have you swooning; it really is a burst of energy on a dreary day. Combining her own work with inspiration, Anna really takes you on a journey of her own creative process, something which we love to see. If we could sell this positivity in bottles, we absolutely would.

The Master of Fashion | @ashish

His instagram bio says “fighting gloom with glitter since 2001” and we’re pretty sure he means it. Fashion is a huge inspiration for us here at W.A.Green and Ashish manages to hit the mark with his eccentric collections every time. Let’s keep on fighting that gloom!

The Street Artist | @therealpakal

Pakal is the anonymous alter-ego of an established London-based artist and someone we’re lucky enough to stock in the shop. “Free from boundaries, and labels, Pakal’s vivid colours, inspired by the Far East and indige-nous art of Central America, spiritual references, symbolism and imagination meets the viewer viscerally, through the eyes and the soul.” We didn’t think we could explain it any better ourselves.

The Pastel Perfection | @studio_lapeche

If curves are your thing, be sure to give interiors, furniture and design instagram ‘studiolapêche’ a follow. Curated by architect and designer Paula Martinez and artist and interior designer Charlotte Taylor, this highly-charged feed is pure interiors porn with its pastel colours and architectural photography.

The Crazy Cats | @selettiworld

Seletti are tongue-in-cheek in both design and in social media - we love all that they stand for. Playful, vibrant and borderline sexual, there’s something extraordinarily different about everything this brand touches. Look out for collaborations with Studio Job and Toiletpaper and take them at face value; design is meant to be fun!

The Up and Coming | @mollygoddard

Molly Goddard’s fashion-focused Instagram really gets our heart racing. No frills isn’t a thing on this social media account and we love gathering inspiration from somewhere a little different.  Last year the designer was awarded the BFC Vogue Designer Fashion Fund award, so we expect 2019 is going to be even bigger.

The Location House | @margatelocationhouse

If you haven’t come across Margate Location House before, you’re certainly going to want to stay after reading this. Based in, you guessed it, Margate and run by set designer Amy Exton, MLH is a colourful and creative hub that is both used for shoots and as an Airbnb. We’re especially digging her latest sunset mural. On your marks, get set, BOOK!

The NYC Wanderer | @bigntoasty

Bigntoasty’s crazily colourful Instagram account is the sign of a girl that walks A LOT. If you like to see colour on the go, this is the account for you. Expect to find street art, architecture, colourful shutters and just about anything else with a bright hue that you might come across on a wander.

The Ordinary Seeker | @happymundane

The Happy Mundane celebrates the ordinary and the extraordinary, good design of any kind, and takes a moment to appreciate some things that get overlooked in the everyday. We adore editor Jonathan’s “mundane musings”. Don’t forget to check out the hashtag  #mundaneaesthetic too!

The Fellow Maximalist | @quirkandrescue

If you’re looking for a real home that makes a bold statement, look no further than Ms Pink’s colourful abode - it hits the bright mark that’s for sure. Patterns, neon, bold typography; no stone is left unturned in this colourful abode and you’re sure to find tons of inspiration in a world of grey.

The Crochet Queens | @parisessex

The Paris Essex throws in-store light up our lives on a daily basis so it was a no-brainer to include the brand in this colourful round-up. Run by Carolyn Clewer and Tiphaine de Lussy, Paris Essex revisits the craft and the clichés of knitting and crochet, playing with hand and machine techniques. Luxurious natural fibres meet glitter and fluff to create playful knits without a sell-by date.

And, don’t forget little old us...

The Green Team | @w.a.greenlondon

Please do give us a follow! We’re always sharing our favourite inspiration as well as our colourful brands, and a little bit of shop life. Share us with your friends if you’re feeling really generous.
