We've teamed up with one of our favourite independent designers, Concrete Candy, to celebrate the psychedelic beauty of mushrooms.

Bonding over the same experimental aesthetic and love of colour, W.A.Green has supported London based Concrete Candy for many years, with the pair first joining forces during the London Design Festival in 2018. This new collaboration was born out of a post lockdown catch-up, where discussions about craving the countryside led to the realisation they both are obsessive about mushrooms!

The result is beautiful, escapist and childishly fun - kaleidoscopic candle holders we've named Shrooms. Colour-popping with an unctuous uniqueness, each one (just like a real fungi) is unique.

Hand made in fizzing neon and mixed with marbled, candy-sweet pastels, the prismatic palette adds a heavy statement to any table or mantlepiece.

“As an avid collector of vintage glass mushrooms I’ve always been drawn to them from illustrations in Scandinavian and Eastern European folklore. Concrete Candy’s unique mix of kaleidoscopic colours combined with the psychedelic powers of mushrooms elevate this everyday item into a whole new world of escapist joy”.

Zoe Anderson, Founder W.A.Green.

‘I had so much fun designing and making these trippy neon and marbled Shroom Candleholders inspired by the forest scape in Alice and Wonderland and 1970’s psychedelic music posters!”

Sarah McDougall, Founder Concrete Candy.
