LOUISE MADZIA | LINE DRAWING WHITE PLANTER | ROCK HORN FINGERS MINI POT – W.A.Green London

ROCK ON HANDS MINI POT

£22.00

Ronnie James Dio from Black Sabbeth was known for popularizing the sign of the horns in heavy metal. He claimed his Italian grandmother used it to ward off the evil eye (which is known in Southern Italy as malocchio). Designer, Louise Madzia loves a slap of humour in her drawings and this cheeky mini pot rocks out in our cacti world.

We're delighted to be stocking this playful collection of hand-painted ceramics. Independent designer, Louise Madzia carefully decorates her pots with painted line drawings of bodies, hands, peace-signs, cigarettes and faces - all with a good dose of humour to simple but powerful effect.

Louise studied Illustration at Kingston and took a ceramics course on a whim in her final year which became her passion.  Her main collection is made in the potteries of Stoke-on-Trent, UK. She also creates one-off slab-built pieces by hand, which are then hand painted and glazed in her Buckinghamshire studio.
